Guido Cupani is an Italian poet and astrophysicist who lives and works near Trieste. Guido has the gift of control and measure, common to many poets who live in the north-east, made up of mutable horizons, crossings, and borders. His poetry collections include Meno Universo (Less Universe), Dot.com Press, 2018, and felicità (Happiness), Samuele Editore, 2015. Poems have been published in Versante Ripido, Poetarum Silva, Circumference, Tupelo Quarterly, Atelier, Nazione Indiana, and Perìgeion, notably. Translations include three collections by Patrick Williamson published by Samuele Editore. Guido also collaborates on Perìgeion and Fare voci, and has won first prizes in contests including Poesia Onesta 2016, Albiatum 2016, PAPS 2015, and Giuseppe Malattia della Vallata 2015.
